- Processing: Strip away lower leaves to clear the baseline, as dense veronica foliage can decompose quickly and foul processing water.
- Hydration Setup: Using sharp, sanitized shears or a floral knife, trim the stems at a deep 45-degree angle. Submerge immediately into clean buckets mixed with a professional flower food solution to prevent bacterial clogging.
- Conditioning: Allow the stems at least 24 hours at room temperature to fully rehydrate and expand. Once the florets and leaves feel strong and rigid, transfer the buckets into a cool floral chiller or holding room.
